NATIONAL Democratic Congress (NDC) president Saboi Imboela says UPND should not get excited with winning ward by elections because the situation on the ground about their true popularity is different.
And Ms Imboela said government should not have removed the security detail of the former President Edgar Lungu because as a former head of State, he would forever remain the property of the State even after his return to active politics.
“First and foremost, the PF did not participate in these elections that is why they came out bottom. They manipulated to be able to ensure that the real PF does not participate. They should not use these by elections to propagate their evil because we know that ruling parties usually win these by elections but the real situation on the ground is there,” Ms Imboela said.
