An appeal by the widow of late Evangelist Moses Chiluba to President Hakainde Hichilema to save Camnet Television has raised a hell storm with traditionalists condemning the action. Traditionalists have described the gesture in a eulogy she personally made during the burial service as untraditional and an affront.
“No ways, she chose business over her husband who was by then not yet buried.” Emmanuel Sampa said.
“It’s like starting isambo lyamfwa before you could burry, that’s unafrican.”
He added that when paying last respect to the deceased, it doesn’t matter what opportunities presents themselves, you have to suspend all business in favour of the deceased.
