CDF Bursary Program Empowers Over 700 Students in Mwansabombwe

Findings from a spot check by senior leaders in Mwansabombwe District have confirmed that over 773 students are currently benefiting from the Constituency Development Fund (CDF) secondary school bursary program. The check underscored the district’s commitment to increasing education access for vulnerable learners.
Mwansabombwe Town Council Chairperson Mr. Terrioh Chungu, who led the delegation, encouraged students to use the opportunity to become future leaders and to embrace a spirit of service to the community.
“Leadership starts now. Use your education to uplift your families and communities,” said Mr. Chungu.
Meanwhile, Mwansabombwe Member of Parliament Mr. Kabaso Kampampi reaffirmed the government’s continued support, emphasizing education as a key to breaking the cycle of poverty.
“CDF is here to stay and will continue to transform lives by supporting deserving students,” said Mr. Kampampi.
Speaking on behalf of the bursary recipients, pupil Mululu Chitende thanked the council and leaders for their unwavering support, noting that the financial aid had made a significant difference in the lives of many students.
The event showcased how the CDF bursary is opening doors to brighter futures for learners across the district.
